Yarra Valley was the chosen Australia Day setting for the team at Eden Racing. Two horses made the trek to the picturesque course in the beautiful town of Yarra Glen (which might I add, boasts the best calamari from the Hargreaves Hill Brewery in the main street, a must try!).
Beau Dash (Gonski x Zip You Up) owned by Kent Eden, ran 2nd in the 1200m, leading them up before being run down in the final stages of the event.
Two races later, Ibrahim Gundogdu piloted the flashy bay Villianous Vixen, to ping from the widest barrier and land in front. She kicked away on the home corner before posting a comfortable win in an impressive time. She is a speedy little mare and a great asset to the team.
