Lightly raced Donovans is proving to be quite an asset to our stable now having won his past 2 races. His 1st run for us was a win at Pakenham and then he won at Caulfield on Easter Monday in terrific fashion. We aquired him because earlier in his career he tended to jar up quite constantly and so it was decided by his connections and his trainer at that time that the horse would be better off to be with someone that could put in alot more time and beachwork into the horse to get him sound and keep him that way for his future in racing. A decision was made to send the horse to us and he has certainly thrived in his new surroundings and looks to be very promising horse for the future. We are confident that we will back in the winners enclosure again very soon.
A big hello to Ken who no doubt would have been cheering him home yesterday as he has always shown a great interest in this horses career.
