With the Bendigo Gold Rush attracting the best of the 2yo's this weekend thanks to its $250,000 prize purse, we've struck a slightly weaker than usual Listed event tonight with the Godolphin filly Calaverite the horse to beat.
Although beaten out of a place over 1000m last start, Stragun had excuses for the defeat and is more than capable of running a big race tonight. His work has improved all preparation and Shea is confident that he will measure up to this grade.
