The winners continue to roll for the stable with ROYAL SCHILLING (5yo m Artie Schiller x Duchesse De Berri) an arrogant winner of the 1200m Book Your Geelong Cup Package BM64 today at Geelong.
After an ordinary first-up run Shea was keen to get the mare back onto firmer footing and waited patiently for the right race. Although an unknown on the synthetic surface, he opted for the 1200m at Geelong with a wide gate likely to give the mare room to move from the turn.

Ridden to perfection by James Winks, who is enjoying a good run of luck for the stable of late, Royal Schilling unleashed a powerful burst from the back of the field to win comfortably and raise the bar for stronger races.
"I've always thought she had city class ability but she's had a lot of little setbacks," Shea said.
"You've got to be patient with these horses, give them the time they need and trust that they will reward your patience. It's been a story right through my career and it's been the story with this mare today, what a great win."
James Winks was full of praise for the daughter of Artie Schiller and is confident that she will measure up to better grade.
"The benefit of having a ride on her last time really helped today. She got held up at the top of the straight but that was a really smart finish, she had them covered a way out."
Congratulations to all the winning connections James Abel, Doug Gniel, Ann Gniel, Michael Habgood, Heath Kolac, Harley Kolac, Dale Thomas, Roger Timms, Robyn Timms, and Ron Witney
