Shea will hit the road to Adelaide tonight with the powerful chestnut in tow as she gets ready to run in Saturday's Listed Redelva Stakes at Morphettville. It's a tough race with Lloyd Kennewell's gifted pair Get The Nod and Deheiros both set to run, but with rain on the way Novel Dancer should give a great sight.
"Her work has been excellent in the lead up to this race and the forecast rain only boosts my confidence, she'll run a big race," Shea said.
"From here we'll look to a Group 2 back in Adelaide in a fortnight and maybe a trip to Queensland if she handles the preparation. She's got lots of racing ahead of her."
Already Group 3 placed in the Quezette Stakes during spring, one of the hottest form races for the fillies with Sabatini and Royal Snitzel, Shea hopes to add further black type to her pedigree this preparation.
