The impressive win by Next Step Berrima at Sale on Thursday brought up the 250th career winner for Shea Eden and winner number 29 for the current season. The Al Maher x Our Harmony three year old gelding made it two from three with an extremely strong win in the 1600 Class 1. Jumping from the outside gate Daniel Stackhouse was cool and positive allowing the horse to roll forward and whilst held wide for 300 to 4000 metres he found the spot outside the leader. Daniel pushed the button as they straightened getting the upper hand inside the 200 and then toughing it out to hold off the fast finishing Cheptegei. A couple of good judges commented with the hard run that he had he probably wasn’t entitled to win such was the merit of the win.

Congratulations again to our fantastic Geelong owners in Craig Scott, Tim Darcy, Brendan Hovey, John Nagle and their partners and Dr Genevieve Seabrook and Michael Shembrey.

Another great job by Shea, Jamie and all the team for their excellent work with this up and coming horse and congratulations to Shea on his 250th winner.

Great time to get involved with Eden Racing.
