Eden Racing has made our first purchase at the 2014 Magic Millions Sales on the sunny Gold Coast.
Lot 205, a lovely Chestnut Colt by Snitzel, out of Amen Ruby from the Musk Creek draft will be making his way down to Corinella very shortly.
Shea took the time to head down to Musk Creek on the Mornington Peninsula (Flinders) at the start of December to inspect the draft for this years sales, and a select few had been on his mind ever since.
Snitzel is a wonderful stallion having produced some exceptional gallopers such as Shamus Award, Snitzerland, Hot Snitzel and our very own 3yo 'Red Samurai'.
The dam, 'Amen Ruby' has produced 5 foals with 4 to race and all have won. She is by the popular 'Rubiton', which was a massive selling point for Shea with his talented galloper, 'Apollo's Choice' dam (Apolina) also being by Rubiton.
Shea is extremely grateful to have been able to snap up such a quality colt, and is looking forward to Musk Creek retaining a share. Musk Creek have also kindly offered Shea to spell the colt for 2 months free of charge.
