Following an impressive first up victory at Sandown last Wednesday (11th May) in the BM70 1000, the Statue Of Liberty x Run Girl Run 5 year old gelding will now head to Flemington on Saturday in the BM70 1100. A terrific ride by Craig Newitt had the horse sitting off the pace around mid field before the turn from where Froggy made his move taking a split as they got into the straight and getting to the front around the 250 and being strong to the line to hold off all challenges. The win takes the horse’s record to 3 wins from 8 starts.
