Red Red Wine continued to build a good record with an excellent second up victory at Bendigo on Sunday (15th May) in the BM64 1300. The four year old Bel Esprit x Diamond Fund gelding brought up his third win from only 7 starts with his impressive win on the soft 7 surface. It was a terrific ride by Craig Newitt who gave the horse an economical run on the fence behind the leaders just needing an ounce of luck to get clear and the long and spacious Bendigo straight allowed Froggy Newitt to get off the fence and get home over the top of them to win in reasonably soft fashion on the line.

Congratulations to Dr Rob Sheahan and his Queensland owners with the horse now moving to a 70 rater and we  look forward to a very promising campaign ahead across the winter months with this very consistent galloper.

It was also another good win for the stable after Libertus saluted at Sandown last Wednesday with Shea , Jamie and the Eden Racing team getting good rewards for their hard work.
