Shea was absolutely thrilled to secure the one horse he went to the Gold Coast Magic Millions sales in January to chase, Lot 649 by Not A Single Doubt from the stakes producing mare Strata Title.
She is an absolute darling and very much in the shape of her older half-sister, Group 3 placed Novel Dancer which will live just a few stable doors down from this girl, as well as their 2yo half-sister by Stryker which is showing great potential.
"The two fillies that I have from this mare have shown me plenty, and of course Novel Dancer is a standout and a genuine Group class mare in the making," Shea said.
"I went to the Coast to buy her and I was stoked to be able to land her for a really reasonable price given how popular she was."
"I spoke to leading bloodstock agent Paul Willetts after buying her and he told me that he rated her amongst the best three fillies in the sale and that gives me even more confidence going forward given Paul's record."
The filly was secured for $185,000 with many of Novel Dancer's current owners quickly taking up a share.
