It was terrific to see Canpous break through to win her Maiden at Mornington at only her 6th race start. This mare had shown ability early on but she just needed extra time to mature mentally. Shea gave her the time required and this preparation we have seen a different horse who has really turned the corner and the patience shown is now paying dividends.
