Congratulations to all the owners for their patience that was well rewarded yesterday at Stawell where Diamond Moments registered her first win in stunning fashion in the 1300 maiden first up this prep. It was a superb ride from Madison Lloyd giving the odds on favourite In Hot Water 2 lenghts from the 100 mark. That’s Madison’s second win for the stable. From 10 starts to date the mare has now a win to go with her 3 seconds from her last campaign underlining her consistency. She is in for a good campaign now that she has broken her maiden and will appreciate getting out further and is fairly adept on all surfaces.

The win kicks 2021 off in good style for the stable and is the 18th winner of the 20/21 season for Shea. He wasn’t far off making it 19 winners when 3yo filly Reflecting Image flashed home at her first start at Werribee today and is in for a promising career.

With a number of very promising unraced young horses in work the stable are looking forward to a strong late summer and autumn. The extremely unlucky Housay will be out to redeem things at Flemington next Saturday and Capodanno and Rock In The Park are due to hit the track in the coming week or two. Bless Her is back in work and with Alsvin not far off returning and Ocular having a break the next few months look promising.

Unfortunately Polanco was a late scratching today in the Listed Chester Manifold Stakes at Flemington where he would have been right in the race.

The stable would love to hear from anyone interested in getting into ownership with Shea and his team at Eden Racing as there are number of serious opportunities available right now with most of these on our website.
