Shea and the stable’s winning double on Wednesday concluded the first two months of the new season with an impressive winning strike rate of 26.1% and finding Shea at 7th in the Victorian trainers premiership from only 46 runners with 12 winners and 25 horses finsishing in the top 4. To put that into some perspective other higher profile trainers such as Melb Cup winning trainer Danny O’Brien at 13% winning strike rate, Dabernig/Hayes 10.4%, Busuttin/ Young 11%, Paddy Payne 9.1% and trainers that are going particularly well including Maher/ Eustace 22.7% and Price & Mick Kent jnr on 19.6%. All these trainers have had significant more runners than Eden Racing this season.
With the ongoing hard work of our staff and the valued support of our owners we are looking to continue our run in the month of October.
Again there is no better time to get involved in horse ownership with Shea and his team and should you have any interest please let us know so to allow us to assist you with information on a number of current and future opportunities.
One group of owners who were elated with their win on Wednesday was the Polanco group with the horse pictured in his Ballarat victory.
