Impressive Dangers breaks his Maiden

Oct 25, 2021

After he thrrew the race away at Bairnsdale recently the three old Astern colt Dangers made amends at Sale yesterday in the 3YO 1400 Maiden with an impressive win in the end after being locked up behind the leaders well into the straight. Up to the 14O0 he was expected by Shea to relish the step up in distance however it needed an aggressive ride by Zac Spain to bullock his way out at the 200 to give himself clear running and get away to win comfortably on the line by 3/4's of a length. That wasn't the end of it though as the rider of the runner up Daniel Moor fired in a protest for interference at the 200 when Dangers bumped his horse sideways to get out of his pocket. After a reasonable time the protest was eventually dismissed much to the relief of all concerned.

Congratulations to all the owners some of which are in their first horse with the stable - what a thrill.

Shea believes there is significant upside to this fellow as he is still learing all about racing and there are exciting times ahead and the hard working team at Eden Racing sure have something to work with.
